USAID: Two New Addenda Open under STIP APS

The U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID) Global Development Lab (LAB) is pleased to announce the release of two new Addenda under the Science, Technology, Innovation and Partnerships Annual Program Statement (STIP APS). Both Addenda seek to engage global Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in advancing development research, innovation, research utilization, and training.

The BRIDGETrain Addendum to the STIP APS aims to support institutional partnerships between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in USAID Partner Countries and U.S.based HEIs to develop research, innovation, and training centers for knowledge development aimed at addressing local and/or national development priorities.

The BRIDGEU Addendum to the STIP APS seeks to establish or further develop a locallyled, HEIbased hub for research utilization in a USAID Partner Country to enhance capacity for translating development research and innovation.

Though the goals of these Addenda are closely related, the LAB sees each Funding Opportunity as targeting a different point along the researchtoaction spectrum. Please share the BRIDGETrain flyer and BRIDGEU flyer with relevant partners in your networks.
