UN chief expresses “praise, admiration” for Uganda refugee efforts

The UN chief said the Ugandan people deserved praise and admiration from the whole international community for taking in close to a million refugees from neighbouring South Sudan.

Speaking at Imvepi refugee settlement�home to hundreds of thousands of men, women and children who have fled war and famine�Antonio Guterres said their generosity stood in stark contrast to countries "closing their doors" to refugees.
