The Uganda shilling continued to strengthen against the dollar during Tuesday’s session as dollar inflows remained healthy ahead of the Easter festivities, traders said.
The unit closed the trading session at highs of 3515/3525 from opening levels of 3525/3535 per dollar.
Money markets were liquid with overnight yields at averages of 6.8%, according to Absa.
