The procession leading the remains of Boukary Kaboré dit Le Lion made a stop on Sunday morning at the Thomas Sankara memorial where the illustrious deceased received tributes from several people.

He also praised his loyalty, his commitment and his total determination for Burkina Faso.
Daouda Traoré appreciated the government's act of recognition through the press release.
The retired officer also thanked all the authorities who visited the bedside of the Lion in the hospital or at home.
“I believe that for these authorities, it is a sign, also a recognition of the fight he led and I think that these authorities are already acting in the direction of the fight that Boukary Kaboré led all his life. We have faith that victory is certain with his authorities of the Transition, Captain Ibrahim Traoré and his entire government,” concluded Daouda Traoré.
Died on the night of May 12 to 13, 2023 in Ouagadougou, Boukary Kaboré dit Le Lion, former faithful companion of the late Thomas Sankara, will be taken to his final resting place this Sunday, May 14, 2023 in Poa in the center-west of Burkina Faso.
