The July-August 2022 Examinations Kick Off Well

Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) has commenced the conduct of competence-based assessment and examinations for a total of 53,765 candidates from 506 examinations centres across the country.These examinations series shall end on 19th August 2022.

As part of vigilance and ensuring the security of examinations, the Board has deployed 600 Examinations managers including Reconnoiters and Monitors. Given the practical and hands on assessment of some modules, the Board deployed 2,500 practical Assessors and 50 verifiers. I am glad to report that we successfully delivered all examinations materials at all storage facilities in the country. The Board has deployed practical Examiners, Monitors and Reconnoiters to ensure smooth conduct of examinations in accordance with the Rules on conduct of examinations.

We are impressed to report that the conduct of the first modular assessment for 30,369 candidates at 405 TVET institutions has commenced well. We commend the Heads of centres for the job well done.
