Student Drowns in University Pool

A senior five student of Munta Royal College in Bombo on Sunday drowned in a swimming pool at Ndejje University in Luweero. Police in Luweero said they were called and responded promptly but were too late to save Muzamir Bukenya. They retrieved the body and took it Mulago hospital for a postmortem.

According to Ben Kiwanuka, the crime investigations officer of Luweero, Bukenya, said to have been a day scholar, had gone to the university to enjoy his hobby – swimming.
