The National Culture Week (SNC) Communities Village located in the artisanal village of Bobo-Dioulasso, mobilizes several communities living in the city of Sya and those coming from abroad for the cultural biennial. They came to exhibit their cultural and artistic wealth and their traditional dishes.
At this edition of the National Culture Week (SNC), the foreign and national communities did not hesitate to storm the various stands set up for them.
There are works of art, fabrics and local dishes. It is an atmosphere of fraternity and conviviality that welcomes you as soon as you cross the entrance to this village.
All the leaders of the different national and foreign communities are seated under the same tent talking together or snacking on something.
It's a community life that seems to exist there. “It's our SNC to all. The community is doing very well in the Hauts Bassins and in general in Burkina Faso. Our brother country is Burkina Faso. We feel good here, because we are very well integrated,” said Amadou Sanon, the president of the Ivorian community living in the Hauts-Bassins and first national vice-president.
“If we agreed to come and exhibit parts of our culture, it is because Burkina and Mali are the same people. You see, we also find here in Mali, several Burkinabe names and communities,” said Yacouba Diarra, the Secretary for the organization of the Malian community in the Hauts-Bassins .
