The host municipality is committed to the success of the biennial and is concerned about the success of this 20th edition of the National Culture Week (SNC) which will be held from April 29 to May 6 2023 in its municipality.
This commitment is explained by the fact that the municipality is an actor in the promotion of local and national culture.
To concretize his participation, the president of the special municipal delegation of Bobo-Dioulasso, Adama Bidiga informed that the municipality gave a check of 10 million CFA francs to the national organizing committee as a financial contribution to the organization.
The municipality has also planned to support the organization with two buses with 28 seats each, machinery and dump trucks.
"Beyond that, we have planned the daily removal of waste and garbage on the various SNC sites through our direction in charge of sanitation", suggested Adama Bidiga.
According to him, the city has also taken initiatives to mobilize the local population during the SNC, in particular through the establishment of an artistic platform in place of the town hall.
"We have created a small internal commission that works closely with the technical secretariat of the SNC to coordinate our actions to ensure the success of this major cultural event," explained Adama Bidiga.
