Security Tight at Owuor Rally (allAfrica.com)

Religious leader Prophet David Owuor attracted a huge crowd in Eldoret, where he hosted a threeday rally that caused a massive traffic jam.

Hotels recorded booming business. Thousands of people travelled from as far away as Western Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania for the mega revival rally hosted at the Eldoret Sports Club.

There was tight security as more than 200 agents, including anti-terror experts were deployed to the venue. “We pray for Eldoret and this country so that all of us should repent and proclaim our heavenly God,” said Owuor at the rally.

He preached the message of repentance and there were claims of healing miracles where the sick and those living with disabilities were brought to benefit from the healing prayers. Many confessed to have been healed of various ailments and disabilities. Owuor arrived in the town on Friday evening under tight security.
