Saied leaves Tunisia to partake in 32nd regular session of Arab League Council

President Kais Saied left on Thursday Tunisia to Saudi Arabia to partake in the 32nd Regular Session of the Arab League Council, at the invitation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Upon arriving to the Presidential Airport, the Head of State reviewed a detachment of the three armies paying him honours before saluting the flag to the tune of the national anthem, reads a Presidency of the Republic press release.

He was seen off by Prime Minister Najla Bouden and several other officials.

The 32nd Regular Session of the Arab League Council will be held on Friday in Jeddah during which the leaders will discuss 32 draft resolutions, including notably the Palestinian issue, developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, the Sudan crisis and the Syrian file, especially reconstruction, the situation in Lebanon, enhanced cooperation and coordination in countering terrorism and exchange of information between security agencies.
