Prof. Sr. Dipio Appointed Consultor of Pontifical Council for Culture

Makerere University's Sr. Dominica Dipio was on Monday 11th November 2019 appointed one of four consultors of the Vatican-based Pontifical Council for Culture by Pope Francis, the head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State.

According to an article published on the Association for Catholic Information (ACI) Africa website, Prof. Sr. Dipio could not hide her reverence at being appointed When the news of the Holy Father's appointment of four of us, women, as consultors to the Pontifical Council for Culture became public, I felt truly humbled and honoured at the same time.
