President Saied at Arab Summit affirms commitment to national independence and non-interference

"We vehemently reject becoming once again the prey of a novel global order from which we are excluded," proclaimed President Kais Saied in his address to the 32nd Arab Summit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday.

«The world is currently undergoing a process of reconstitution; however, this should not come at the expense of the Arab world and its peoples."

The Head of State ardently advocated for the establishment of a global order grounded in principles of social justice, fairness, stability, and societal harmony, urging concerted endeavours to eradicate poverty.

According to President Saied, the countries in the region currently confront significant challenges, foremost among them being the preservation of their states and institutions. He issued a cautionary statement against "efforts aimed at fracturing the region and conspiring against its interests."

Tunisia remains steadfast in upholding its core principles, including the sovereignty of national decision-making and non-interference in the internal affairs of others, as enshrined in its constitution.

"Our people in Tunisia are unwaveringly committed to their liberty and dignity," he added.

Furthermore, President Saied warmly welcomed Syria's reinstatement into the Arab League, proclaiming that "the successful reunification of the Arab family is the outcome of thwarting a major conspiracy against Syria."

The President of the Republic also advocated for exerting every possible effort to support Yemen and Sudan in preserving their territorial integrity.
