President Museveni leaves for China.

President Yoweri Museveni has left for a five working visit to China at the invitation of his counterpart President Xi.

As a special guest, He will officially open the Coordinators Meeting of the Implementation of the Follow-up Actions of the Beijing FOCAC Summit. China last year hosted all African heads of state to a summit. This meeting, of ministers, tracks progress made since then. President Museveni will address it.

He will attend the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo and also hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese President, Xi Jinping in Beijing.

He was seen off at Entebbe International Airport by the Vice-President Mr. Edward Ssekandi.

Others at the Airport to see off the President included the Minister for the Presidency Hon. Esther Mbayo, the Head of Public Service Mr. John Mitala and the Deputy Ambassador of China to Uganda Mr. Chen Huixin among others.
