Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) football club coach Mike Mutebi has said that his focus returns to retaining the Azam Uganda Premier League and improving their position in this year's Uganda Cup.
KCCA are second behind Azam Uganda Premier League table leaders SC Villa (47points) with a points and they are in quarterfinal of the Uganda Cup.
KCCA football club yesterday advanced to the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup is no news and Mutebi believes it should be an incentive for the players to do well locally.
Goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan saved two penalties against Al Masry FC and scored the last penalty kick to see KCCA advance to CAF Confederations Cup group stage 4-3 on aggregate.
KCCA had drawn with Al Masry 1-1 after the first leg in Kampala and the second leg in Egypt.
Players Geoffrey Serunkuuma, Muzamir Mutyaba, Timothy Awany and Ochan took the penalties.
Brian Majwega hit the crossbar in the other penalty kick.
