For over a decade, thousands of Ugandan women have been flying out to the Middle East every year in search of better paid jobs that can help support their families back home. But amidst multiple complaints of abuse, assault and ill-treatment, last December Kampala proposed a suspension of a labour agreement with Saudi Arabia. That 's now resumed but there's still concerns about the safety of African workers in the country.
