The Combatant Forces reacted promptly to a terrorist attack in the Barani (Kossi) area which enabled them to neutralize around fifty attackers, the AIB learned on Saturday from security sources.
The FDS and the VDP were partly captured in the Barani area in the Kossi province, while they were on an offensive reconnaissance mission.
The prompt reaction of the Combatant Forces forced the criminals, estimated at around fifty, to flee.
But thanks to aerial vectors, they will be formally located in abandoned homes in the locality of Yalankoro.
It is at the time of their assessment meeting under a large tree, that the terrorists will be decimated by strikes.
The Combatant Forces continue their operations to restore territorial integrity and peace, on all fronts, our sources assure us.
