The Speaker of the Transitional Legislative Assembly, Dr. Ousmane Bougouma, who attended last Saturday alongside Foreign Minister Olivia Rouamba, the inauguration of President Erdogan, hailed a important step for Turkish-Burkinabè relations.
“This investiture meeting, a significant point in Turkish political history, is unmissable for our country. The country of Atatürk has positioned itself in recent years as one of the most important strategic partners for the country of Upright Men in the reconquest of its territory and the affirmation of its sovereignty”, affirmed on June 3, 2023 in Ankara, Dr. Ousmane Bougouma.
As a reminder, Burkina Faso recently acquired war material from the Republic of Türkiye, which enabled it to inflict heavy losses on the armed terrorist groups that have been attacking it for eight years.
Note that the President of the Transitional Legislative Assembly of Burkina Faso had just taken part with the Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs Olivia Rouamba, in the inauguration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, re-elected on May 28, 2023.
President Erdogan has pledged to faithfully achieve the goals of his “Century of Türkiye” vision.
"During the next five years, we will continue to work with determination to put this vision into practice", recorded the 12th Turkish president in the guestbook of the mausoleum Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Türkiye.
