DON’T MISS! Join the High-Level National Dialogue on the NDP III

The FY2022/23, marked the third year of implementing the Third National Development Plan (NDP III). Consistent with the Comprehensive National Development Planning Framework (CNDPF), the National Planning Authority (NPA) commissioned the Mid-Term Review (MTR) of the NDP III. The MTR aimed at assessing the continued relevance of the intervention and the progress made towards achieving its planned objectives. As part of this process, UNNGOF coordinated CSOs to develop a CSO Fundamentals Paper on the NDPIII – MTR. The paper spells out critical areas that Uganda needs to engage with to attain the collective vision for transiting from a peasant economy to a modern economy.

It is against this background that in collaboration with the NPA, UNNGOF is organising a High-Level Virtual National Stakeholders' Dialogue on the NDPIII under the theme: Strengthening Multistakeholder Engagement in the National Development Planning Process. The dialogue is scheduled for Thursday 2nd March 2023 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Overall objective of the stakeholders’ dialogue

To facilitate and strengthen engagement by Government and civil society in the National Development processes. More specifically, the dialogue will be instructive in identifying key issues and processes that need to be fast-tracked to achieve the NDPIII objectives in the remaining period.

As a key stakeholder in Uganda's development planning process, we would like to invite you to participate in the dialogue.
