CANU17: two cadet stallions in the eleven-type of the CAF group stages
Striker Souleymane Alio and defender Lassina Traoré are the two young Stallions who joined the top-eleven of the best CAN U17 players in the group stage, we learned Confederation of African Football (CAF), organizer of the competition.
"The CAF Technical Study Group has named the best XI of the group stage of the TotalEnergies U17 Africa Cup of Nations, also naming the best manager and the best player so far in the competition", said announced the CAF.
The Burkinabè striker showed off his talent during the two matches (without the ½ final) of the Burkina Faso pool and was twice named man of the match. The side Traoré was also credited with a good performance in Mali, Cameroon.
Burkina Faso will play its match for 3 rd place on Thursday while the grand final will be played on Friday between Cubs (from Morocco and Senegal).
