Burkina: Terrorists neutralized at the entrance to Boulsa and Djibo, the attackers of Seytenga decimated

The Combatant Forces, assisted by air vectors, neutralized this Friday morning, terrorists who were preparing to attack the cities of Boulsa and Djibo, while their accomplices suffered losses in the localities of Seytenga, AIB learned today from security sources.

On the morning of Friday April 7, 2023, terrorists on around thirty motorcycles headed for the city of Boulsa (Centre-Nord), with the aim of spreading terror and desolation.

Combat helicopters from the Burkinabè army will stop them 8 km from the city, near Zambanga.

The column is almost decimated according to the army, with the exception of two bikers who managed to flee.

During the night of Thursday to Friday, another group of terrorists planned to attack the town of Djibo in northern Burkina to avenge the losses suffered in recent days at their base in Nassoumbou.

While they wanted to cancel their disastrous project five kilometers from the locality, the air vectors came into action, striking down the fleeing columns in the direction of Baraboulé, Bouro and Diguel.

The losses are immense in the ranks of the enemy. The hunt for survivors entrenched in the forests continues.

On the evening of Thursday April 6, 2023, terrorists carried out an incursion into the area of Seytenga (North). The military detachment immediately engaged the fight against the criminals.

Defeated, the looters will seek to park the cattle in an area and take refuge in abandoned houses.

The aerial vectors called to the rescue have neutralized several of them and the hunt continues.

Other air-land operations are underway in several localities in Burkina Faso as part of the reconquest of the territory.

The military authorities ask the lost who have joined the armed terrorist groups to save their lives by laying down their arms.
