The Combatant Forces won several victories this week, marked by the neutralization of several terrorists and the recovery of war materials in the East, Center-East, North and Center- north, the AIB learned Thursday from security sources.
In the Bittou area, in the Center East, the Combatant Forces crossed arms with armed terrorist groups.
They were able to remove vehicles, weapons, explosives and a fuel depot, after having neutralized several criminals.
In addition, the FDS and the VDP invested forests in the Gnagna in the East, during a major ground operation which enabled the neutralization of around thirty terrorists.
In the Center-North region, ground operations in several places killed many terrorists and the Combatant Forces also recovered weapons and logistics.
This Thursday, May 18, 2023, following an attack on the village of Nongfaïre in the North, the attackers were chased to the town of Barga.
It is in this place, that the air vectors neutralized these terrorists.
Ground operations are underway to silence armed terrorist groups operating in the area and elsewhere, AIB sources say.
