Boulkiemdé: New school infrastructure for school B in Tiogo-Mossi

School B of Tiogo-Mossi benefited from new school infrastructure, the laying of the first stone of which took place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, in the presence of local authorities and donors.

Three equipped classrooms, a director's office, a borehole, latrines, such is the composition of the school infrastructure that the NGO ABED International based in Germany makes available to School B of Tiogo-Mossi.

An action to be attributed to Gilbert Tiendrebeogo, son of the locality, who submitted to the NGO ABED International a request with a view to standardizing the school B created in 2012 and which has been operating since then with four classes.

On the occasion, the village mobilized to show the hosts of the day their gratitude and their recognition in the face of this saving gesture.

It should be noted that the delegation that came for the occasion was made up of local authorities, namely the secretary general of the region, Séverin Somé, the first vice-president of the special delegation of the commune of Koudougou, Urbain Kombasseré, the director regional preschool, primary and non-formal education of the Centre-West, Ardiata Sawadogo, and on the other hand the team of the NGO ABED International led by Idrissa Omer Ouedraogo.

The ceremony, rich in colors and emotions, gave rise to a festive atmosphere in the sense that the jubilant population did not fail to express its immense joy.

The President of the Parents' Association, Benjamin Yameogo and the CVD President, Marcel Yameogo, were animated by immense joy.

This is justified by the relief of the pupils as well as the parents who will no longer suffer the reverses of the recruitment which was done every two years as well as the honor done to the village by the authorities who were kind enough to enhance the brilliance of the ceremony by their actual presence.

The authorities welcomed the commitment of the daughters and sons of the village who did not hesitate to contribute their share to the development of their land but also the vision of the NGO ABED International which is part of the humanitarian and well-being -be children in difficulty.

The Coordinator of the NGO ABED International, Idrissa Omer Ouedraogo, reassured the commitment of his structure to always work to give disadvantaged children more chance to also find a place in the sun.

It should be noted that the NGO ABED International intervenes almost everywhere in Africa to provide more amenities for the education and development of children.

The inauguration of these school facilities is scheduled for early September before the start of the school year.
