Last week, the gods may have answered many African conservatives’ prayers when in a twist of events, someone set the Big Brother Africa house on fire.
Well, after that agonizing news of the show’s premiere being postponed, the producers and a team from M-Net started looking for an alternative house to produce the show. In fact, according to MultiChoice General Manager, Caroline Creasy, they received calls from as far as Uganda, with fans offering their houses to be used.
Well, over the weekend, the show’s producers issued a statement that a new home had been found clearly, another set of gods had answered the liberal Africans’ prayers too!
Much as they maintained silence about the location of the house, it is rumoured to be outside South Africa, for the first time in the reality show’s history. Now, the show that was meant to premiere on Sunday is slated to kick off next month on a yet-to-be-communicated date.
