Bazèga / Drugs in schools: The youth of Kombissiri sensitized
The youth of Kombissiri benefited from an awareness session, this Friday, May 19, 2023 in Kombissiri, on the harmful effects of drug use in schools. The activity is of the Association jeunesse avenir du Bazèga (AJA/B) in collaboration with the singer artist Oskimo.
Forging a conscientious and responsible youth in good health, such is the objective of the Association jeunesse avenir du Bazèga (AJA/B) through its awareness of the harmful effects of drugs in schools.
In collaboration with the Burkinabe singer-songwriter Oskimo, the activity took place at Place du 2 juin de Kombissiri in the presence of the city authorities and young people from schools and vocational training centres.
According to the president of AJA/B, Abdoul Aziz Compaoré, this sensitization is initiated to make young people aware of the harmful effects of drug consumption and to reduce violence in schools.
For the Secretary General of the province of Bazèga, Wossolème Clarisse Denni, who presided over the ceremony, drug use is a real scourge that damages the physical and mental health of young people, thus hindering their participation in the development of the country. .
This is why she welcomed the AJA/B initiative, the objective of which is to considerably reduce drug use in schools.
In his exchanges with young people, mostly students, the artist Oskimo spoke widely about the harmful consequences of drugs in all sectors of activity, particularly in schools.
He invited the young people, builders of Burkina Faso of tomorrow to avoid narcotics to stay in good health and progress in studies for a better tomorrow.
