ADDITIONAL SUSPECT IN TORTURE VIDEO OF NJUBA BRIAN ARRESTED

The Directorate of Crime, Intelligence and Lugazi Police, tracked down and arrested, a one Wejule Abdu Rahman, who is one of the Prime suspects, that viciously tortured Njuba Brian, a 40-year-old plumber at Lovely Guest House, Katoogo zone, in Gaba-Makindye Division. The suspect was tracked down using advanced surveillance techniques and arrested in Lugazi. Upon a further search at his premises, the victim’s phone, sim card and yellow-T-shirt with “NRM” printed on the back, recovered.

Also arrested, is Namaganda Mastula, a receptionist, at Lovely Guest House, who booked the assailants at the Guest House. We have also established that the suspects used her phone, to call Njuba Brian to the Guest House, under the pretext of doing plumbing work. We are now looking for other members of the torture gang.

The torture incident was captured in a distressing footage, where the victim was held unlawfully, confined and tortured to near death. The case therefore, deserved exceptional police response and investigation, which has produced great results.

As we track down the remaining suspects, we are going to do everything within our means to see to it that justice is secured.
