Absa Bank Uganda yesterday 20th may 2022, donated IT equipment worth UGX 131 million to the Uganda Police Training School Kabalye, Masindi. The donation include 10 laptops, 60 desktops, a projector and internet connection for the school’s resource center.

The donation was received by the Deputy Inspector General of Police Maj.Gen Tumusiime Katsigazi from Mr. Mumba Kalifungwa, Absa Bank Uganda’s Managing Director,.

In this first phase, the bank has handed over 23 computers worth UGX 54 million shillings

While receiving the donation, the DIGP noted that, the Uganda Police is committed to prioritizing professionalism by pursuing the duty of ensuring safety and security of Ugandans. He added that the police will continue to harness the use of technology and increase the capacity of our human resources to integrate ICT in the execution of their duties.

He thanked and appreciated ABSA for the kind gesture and cooperation with the Uganda Police Force.
