Zimbabwean Mitchell to coach Uganda’s team

Maxime Van Pee and Fortune Sentamu have tightened their grip on the MX1 and MX65 classes respectively. The two continued where they left off three weeks ago in Busiika winning the second round of MX championship held at Garuga on Sunday.

Maxime and Sentamu are the only riders after two rounds to have won all the six heats. Other winners at Garuga were Imran Nkuruzinga (MX50), Ali Omar (MX85) and Fathu Kiggundu (MX2). After the event Team Uganda captain Arthur Blick Jr revealed that Zimbabwe and Africa champion Shaun Mitchell will come to train the team ahead of the FIM Africa Central MX Championship.

The event will take place at Uganda Sports Arena Busiika on Easter Sunday. It will also count towards the local championship with riders scoring points. “Mitchell will be here in the next three weeks to train the team ahead of Kenya Challenge. He will also be a guest rider during the event next month,” the veteran rider told the Daily Monitor.
