Depending on your personality and what you prefer, you can pick the room you want to furnish first. She however aises that you should start with the living room.
“When people come to your house, the first thing they see is the living room they will not see what is in the bedroom so deal with the furniture in the living room first,” Kavuma aises.

At his workshop in Kisaasi ,you can get a used set of chairs between Shs450,000 and Shs500,000 and a four seater dining set at Shs350,000.
Alternatively, Gloria Kavuma says it will save you some money if you get a carpenter to make you some of the furniture that you need. The aantage of this is that you are able to bargain and get a price which you will be able to pay. She however aises that it is important to use a carpenter whose work you have seen so that you get long lasting furniture.
Sam Mutelya, a carpenter says having a carpenter to build your furniture will save you many costs. For a double bed, he says he can charge between Shs 180,000 to Shs 250,000 depending on the kind of wood and design the client wants.
