I would like to register my disappointment and dissatisfaction with non-Ugandans being given National IDs. I went to pick up my ID recently but got the shock of my life when I saw Congolese also lining up to pick up theirs. I personally know these fellows and I know that they are Congolese but what shocked me even the more is that the person issuing the cards told them that their IDs were ready but pending delivery.
Now fellow Ugandans, if this can happen right here in Kampala, how about the villages far away, how many non-Ugandans registered and how many are going to get or have already got our National IDs? Uganda makes you lose hope in everything. It is sad to see such things happen.
