UPDF officer hunted for defiling a 14-year-old girl

A paramedic UPDF officer is being hunted for allegedly defiling a 14 year old girl, a pupil of Mountains of the Moon Army Primary school in Kabarole district.
The officer is said to have committed the offence when the victim had visited Muhoti Barracks Army Health Centre III for healthcare.
It is alleged that the accused person who is a laboratory assistant at the Barracks in West Division Fort Portal Municipality, while attending to the girl he instead defiled her.

The suspect is said to have ordered the girl to strip naked to enable him investigate the case but instead had carnal knowledge of the girl.
Meanwhile, Police is on the spot by the father of the victim who said he reported the matter over a month ago and have not got any feedback from police since then.
The UPDF Rwenzori spokesperson, Capt Ceaser Olwely said that the suspect is at large and that they are still hunting for him.
