UK Marks WWI Centenary in Uganda [press release]

On 27 November, British Council Uganda will screen “War Horse” a World War I drama directed by Steven Spielberg, at Alliance Franccedilaise Kampala. The screening will begin at 7pm.

Entrance to this event is free of charge.

This epic WWI drama details the remarkable bond between a young man called Albert (Jeremy Irvine) and his loyal horse, Joey. It is adapted from a novel by British author Michael Morpurgo.
