Uganda isn’t most desirable destination

Migration for the most part follows economic opportunity. Uganda does not have many compelling reasons for people to visit it. The desirability of a destination plays a part in visa-entry fees.
If the price of entry to less desirable travel destinations is set too high, visitors will simply travel to other destinations.
Uganda, with its shambolic infrastructure, has little to lure sight-seers which they cannot find in Kenya or Tanzania.
The bitter truth is that all Ugandan governments, including the current NRM regime, have failed to create an economy which works for everyone.
