Thousands Brave Rain to Participate in Annual MTN Marathon

Thousands of marathon enthusiasts today ignored an early morning downpour to compete in the three races of the MTN marathon.

Ugandan Alex Chesakit won the men’s 42-kilometre category, while Caroline Migadde won the women race of the same distance.

Other winners included Alex Kapcheromit and Stella Chesang, in the 10km race.
