Last week social media was abuzz with a picture of former NTV news anchor Rosemary Nankabirwa at Mulago’s cancer institute, where she is fighting for her life against the debilitating disease.
The beautiful Rosemary made it into many people’s hearts as a news anchor at the Serena-based TV station, before she left a few years ago and was staying in Europe.
It is a tough road ahead and she looks so frail with all her beautiful hair gone, thanks to possible rounds of chemo.
But from Star Trail, it is our prayer that you beat this like the soldier you are, Rosemary!
Rich Gang make silent Easter return
Rich Gang president Ivan Semwanga was in town with King Lawrence over the Easter weekend!
Really? Yes, only that this time they did not make any ‘statement’ like they did at the end of last year when they decided to buy free drinks for patrons everywhere they went.
This time the South Africa-based duo was silent they attended the Doctors and Nurses night on Friday in Club Silk, but just sat in the corner all night long and it was the same case when they were spotted in Guvnor the following day for A Night in Vegas.
Should we assume that the moneybags’ accounts are dwindling, or was it simply a chill after the revelation that Semwanga’s ex, Zarinah Tlale, had just married Diamond Platinumz in a secret wedding? Over to you.
Mun*G excites teenagers
Students of Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga will live to remember this year’s Easter Sunday. The team behind Buzz Teeniez awards paid them a visit for what is called the BTA kasiki.
The event was meant to give the students a chance to vote their favourites in the different categories. But they got more than ballot papers. It was a day of free soda, goodies and a performance by Mun*G.
The Sejusa star was, however, challenged by the students in his own dance moves.
Who looks better?
Many guys in town are still ogling at socialite Tracy Bora’s lacy dress that she wore to last Thursday’s Billy Ocean concert at Serena hotel. Star Trail went back to 1999 to bring you the fishnet outfit of model Eva Mbabazi, for you to decide who wore it better.
Was the Diamond, Zari wedding real?
Unless you have major problems with your Internet connection, by now you have seen the two pictures of socialite Zari Hussein Tlale and 25-year-old Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz posing as a newlyweds.
However, what Star Trail hasn’t gotten a hold of are the details of the wedding. This is not your typical Zari she would be dying to tell anyone who cared to listen about it all, but she is silent.
It had always been rumoured that their nuptials were set to take place on April 2, and the appearance of the two photos seems to corroborate that. But where are the rest?
The two lovebirds are also expecting their first child (Zari’s fourth) together.
