Six years of Titie’s Show
Last Sunday Titie Tabel hosted members of her NBS TV programme, Titie’s Show, to an end-of-year party at Dance Floor Club in Nateete. Six years ago, Titie, also a singer and radio presenter at CBS FM, started hosting the well-liked talk show.
“We decided to have an end-of-year party in order to get to know each other better and also elect members to run the activities of Titie’s Show Fans Club,” said Titie.
The fans were later treated to a delicious buffet and drinks. They screamed excitedly when Titie and her husband, radioTV presenter Dennis Katongole ‘Omutongole’, walked on to the stage to sing her song, It’s Ok. They were also entertained by Betina Namukasa, Grace Khan, Sharon Nagawa and Jemimah Namatovu.
Hello, Seanice Lojede
Former Sanyu FM presenter Seanice Kacungira has gone west, marrying Nigerian TV star, Fabian Lojede last weekend.
Lojede, who stars in popular South African TV series Jacob’s Cross, has been very outspoken before about his intentions to strictly marry a girl from his native Nigeria and raise “proud Yoruba kids”, but the last we checked, Seanice had erased his Nigerian dreams and preferences.
She introduced him to her parents on Friday and had him walking down the aisle with her the following day. What Nigerian girls, now!?
They say there is something about Ugandan girls, Fabian. Welcome home.
Another baby Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian has given birth to her third child – and it’s a bouncing baby boy. The 35-year-old’s latest addition to the family arrived on Sunday, which also happened to be her eldest son Mason’s fifth birthday.
The newborn, whose father is Scott Disick, joins Mason and two-year-old sister Penelope. Just this month, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star opened up to Fit Pregnancy magazine about expecting her third child.
She said: “I love being pregnant in general. This time I’m more tired than I was the other times. I think it’s because I’m always running around and working on different things. But I feel comfortable with how I look and feel. I find a pregnant body to be beautiful and an incredible reminder of what a woman’s body is made to do.”
Best way to blow one’s legacy
The list of women keeps growing, all having one thing in common: TV legend, Bill Cosby, 78. The man once respected as America’s comedy king is bowing out with astounding shame.
At least 25 women, including Beverley Johnson – the first black model to grace the cover of American Vogue – have come out to say Cosby drugged them and assaulted them sexually, and others have gone ahead to claim he raped them repeatedly when he was still a huge star.
Some of the allegations date back to 40 years, but others, such as the attack on an 18-year-old Chloe Goins at the Playboy mansion, happened just six years ago. Cosby, who has been married to his wife Camilla for many years, is best known for playing the patriarch of popular TV sitcom, The Cosby Show, in the 1980s and later as host of Kids Say the Darnest Things.
A close friend to Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner, it is also alleged that Cosby sexually assaulted at least 12 Playboy Bunnies over the years, although they remain mum about the incidents. Cosby has declined to comment about the allegations that have shocked America and his fans.
Mel B marriage in trouble
Former Spice Girl and X Factor judge, Mel B, has reportedly walked out on her husband of seven years, director Stephen Belafonte. According to The Sun, the X Factor judge, 39, packed up and left the home the couple have been sharing in London after their furious arguing became too much to bear.
The claims come as Mel has been unveiled as the new cover star for Grazia’s Christmas issue, to whom she admitted that she was three hours late for the shoot because she had had an argument with Stephen, 39. She also turned up for the recent X Factor finale with bruises and wearing heavy makeup to disguise what looked like a black eye, sparking speculation that Belafonte had battered her.
The X Factor judge was absent from the judges’ table on Saturday’s installment of the show, after being admitted to hospital in agony on Thursday night. However, she returned for the live finale on Sunday. Fans took to social media to question the state of her marriage, as they noticed that she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring during the broadcast.
