‘Zari is mine for keeps’
After those pictures of Zari Hussein kissing one Farouk in the tabloids, those close to her estranged husband Ivan Ssemwanga have said he is not about to give her up. That he still considers Zari his wife because they held a customary wedding.
In typical Ivan style, he posted a picture of himself counting money in an office and another one of him standing next to a Mercedes Benz CLA 250, which he called his “new small toy”.
Mbu in the absence of Zari, he has resorted to spending more time at his schools and at the beach with the boys.
Well, if Zari loved him for his “small toys” and cash, she should be on her way back to him by now. If not, tough luck, Ivan. Star Trail wonders what happened to the Ivan-Sharon O relationship that sent Zari packing in the first place… !
Joel joins Kiis FM
Joel Isabirye has joined Kiis FM after making the rounds at Capital FM, Beat FM, Dembe FM, Suubi FM and Super FM. He signed a contract on Thursday with the Luganda station on 102.7 FM frequency based in Kampala.
“I will in the next two weeks be unveiling the product and talent that should make things happen. It is a Luganda station that should redefine radio here in the next few months,” said Isabirye, a day after launching his Luganda newspaper Ebbaluwa.
Kiis FM is owned by former mayor Nasser Ssebaggala.
Lutaaya keeps going
After the splitting of Eagles Production, other former directors have gone into recess to reorganize themselves, but not Geoffrey Lutaaya. The singer and his wife Irene Namatovu have clearly moved on already.
The couple were joined by Baby Rich and Diana Namusoke, also from the defunct Eagles, for a series of shows last weekend with one at Kawuku Ggaba on Sunday.
This was probably Lutaaya’s way of testing the waters ahead of his Nkolerera Baana Bange album launch, which has been left in a loop with fans and organizers holding their breath over whether the rest of the former Eagles will agree to perform as per a contract Lutaaya had signed with promoter Balaam Barugahara.
It is now Golden band
After a group of guys outsmarted the former Eagles Production directors by registering their newly-acquired Golden Production behind their backs, the group have settled for another name: Golden band.
Eagles Production was dissolved on a Monday and the mystery guys registered it that week’s Friday and issued a warning that no one else could be called Golden Production.
Sensing foul play, the former Eagles, led by their Managing Director Musa Kavuma, changed to Golden band and will have their first shows this Easter weekend and officially unveil the band in May.
Well, hope they have already registered ‘Golden band’
