Sport-S favourites at KIU Open

KAMPALA. Four-time national league winners Sport-S almost became inexistent after the formation of Sky last year. The club lost key players and struggled to pick up positive results. One year later, Sport-S seem to be finding their feet again as they have won two out of three tournaments thus far.

undits believe that they would be counting three if it wasn’t for the rain that stopped play at the Jinja Open final against Nemostars last weekend. But what is Sport-S doing right that they failed to do last year? “We had to go back on the drawing board,” said Sport-S coach Benon Mugisha.

And it is on that reputation that Sport-S are favourites even more so with Nemo abroad.
