Shots from Kampala Fashion Week debut

The show not only highlighted the latest trends, but also gave a glimpse into what the future for fashion held for Kampala.

The one shoulder
This featured in the collection by Natasha Karugire. This trend can be worn on both knee length and floor length dresses as seen on the pieces from the collection. The collection also featured a beaded detail.

The trench coat
It, too, can make a fashion statement. As part of Sylvia Owori’s Kampala Fashion Week showcase, the collection featured a two-toned trench coat. This look is the perfect girls’ night out.

Raffles are here to stay
These have been a big hit all year round, and don’t be surprised if we still have more raffles into the coming year.
The detail was worn on pieces from fashion designer Martha Jabo’s collection. Raffles are perfect for disguising certain parts of your body, and are also a way to lighten up your mood, after colour, of course!
