Right Cook – Veggie Bhajias Can Be Awesome

Are you used to the common bhajias made of little other than soya flour? Well, try whipping up vegetable bhajias they will pleasantly surprise you.

Ingredients

14kg gram (chickpeagarbanzo) flour

3 potatoes

1 onion

1 cup spinach

1 tablespoondhania

1 small sweet pepper

1 chili

12tspn baking powder, salt

frac12 tea spoon turmeric powder

A little water

Oil for frying.

Method

Peel and slice the potatoes and onion. Chop the spinach, sweet pepper, dhania and chili.

Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl and add the salt, turmeric powder.

Add enough water to form a soft but not dropping batter.

Add all the vegetables and mix well.

Heat the oil and fry small quantities of mixture at a time until brown and cooked.

Drain and serve with chutney.
