Don’t be the lazy cook who only copies what she has tasted elsewhere, but is never aenturous with different ingredients in their kitchen.
Take crisps. Everyone immediately thinks potato (Irish) crisps, or lately, gonja. But you can whip up a better delicacy with good, old sweet potatoes.
3 sweet potatoes
Peel and wash the potatoes.
Cut into very thin slices.
Heat the oil and fry the thin slices until crisp.
Sprinkle with salt.
Cool and pack in air-tight bags until needed.
