Right Cook – Maize Cake an Exciting Possibility

There are not that many things that come to mind – outside porridge and posho – when one mentions maize flour. But with your maize flour, you can get baking and surprise your guests later.


Maize flour 500G

Baking flour 100g

250g margarine

250g sugar

3 eggs

112 teaspoon baking powder

125-250ml milk

Lemon rinds

1teaspoon lemon juice


Blend sugar and margarine until creamy and fluffy.

Add flour and baking powder sifted together, and fold into mixture.

Add the lemon rind juice and milk.

Bake in greased tin at 180c till ready.
