There are more recipes with beans as the main ingredient than just our good old katogo!
Try bean balls and serve them at your next tea party.
200g cooked beans
1 large egg
1 big onion
3 tablespoons flour
100g choppedminced cooked meat.
Mash the beans till smooth.
Mix with finely chopped onions, meat and the tomatoes.
Beat the egg and bind the mixture with it.
Make balls and dust with flour.
Heat oil to almost smoking point.
Fry the balls until brown and crisp.
Drain and serve with sauce or as accompaniment to tea.
