The Aocates Coalition for Development and Environment (Acode), a civil society organization, has released an annual report that accuses Luweero district councillors of failure to monitor government programmes.
Speaking recently at the launch of the Local Government Scorecard in Luweero, Lead Researcher Gerald Ssemakula said because of the councillors’ failures, pressing community problems were never presented to the council.
The most poorly-rated councillors in the report include Mohammed Kadala (Persons With Disabilities) who was scored 43 per cent. He was followed by Rose Mayega (Kalagala sub-county) at 45 per cent.
District chairman Abdul Nadduli scored 69 per cent.
