Obsessions returns in style with Goddess of the Nile

All girls singers group Obsessions has rebranded and returned in style, recruiting more girls and expanding to include other talents like dance and drama. The group is now signed under a Martin Ochul managed Sound print record label.

Obsessions formerly comprising of two singers Sharon O and Jackie Tumusiime has now recruited three more girls Tasha, Liana and JayJay and formed a dance group, Obsessions dance troupe (six boys) which all together make up the new Obsessions Africa.

Beginning December 19, 2014 up to January next year Obsessions Africa will be presenting their new production, a play titled Goddess of the Nile which is briefly about a kingdom whose king has passed on without leaving a successor.

The group will stage 20 shows running daily from 3pm and 7pm from December 19th at the National Theatre auditorium at shs 20,000 per viewing. After these 20 shows, the play will then be taken around the other theatres like Bat Valley and Labonita.

The new obsessions has also released three new singles and videos: Ddalu,Ontute Omwoyo and Mbuulira.
