Nigeria Draws Tunisia, Uganda in Afrobasket

Nigeria D’Tigers has been drawn against the host country, Tunisia, in the FIBA Africa Championship draws that held at the weekend in Tunisia. Also drawn alongside Nigeria is Uganda with the fourth country expected to emerge from the wild card.

In group B are Angola, Mozambique, and Morocco with the fourth team emerging via wild card.

Group C also has four team made up of Egypt, Gabon and Mali and Cameroon.

In Group D are defending champions, Cote d’ Ivoire, Cape Verde, Zimbabwe with the fourth team being a product of wild card.

The first phase of the tournament will be played in a round robin format, with every team taking on its three group opponents. All teams will then aance to the Round of 16.
