Mubs students show some love for strict linesman

Kampala. Football fans can easily be irked if decisions don’t go their way. They usually prefer to react by rioting rather than analysing the situation at hand. Yet when they consider the latter, it is to everyone’s benefit. Makerere University Business School (Mubs) Nakawa students fall in the latter category. Despite linesman Jude Kalemera, ruling their attackers offside for over 10 times – some of those marginally, in their 0-0 draw at home against Busitema in their University Football League (UFL) encounter, the students teasingly carried him shoulder high.
The cheerful students were in a light mood and exchanged banter with Kalemera before they peacefully let him go home. At SCORE, we commend the good spirit and respect for the referees. It is also good to acknowledge that Mubs fans are fast drawing down a marker as the UFL’s most disciplined fans. Eh Discipline Oyee, Raa, Aaah, Mubs Oyee!
