Daily Monitor has landed itself two nominations (Digital Brand of the Year and Best Corporate Brand on Social Media)in the inaugural Digital Impact Awards Africa (DIAA) that will take place on August 22.
Under the theme, “Maximizing the Digital Dividend” the awards seek to recognize and appreciate different organisations that are spearheading the use of digital mediums, and Daily Monitor is obviously one of those. is ranked by as the most visited local website in Uganda with millions of unique visitors a month.
“The DIAAs will hold and#034The Digitals Conferenceand#034 that will enable key stakeholders to share ideas on innovation and best practices including for cybersecurity, e-services(health, education, government), financial services, social media, Big Data, Internet of Things and digital enabled communications,” a statement on the awards official website reads.
The Awards Jury and Research Panel comprise people with extensive knowledge and experience in ICT roles such as entrepreneurs, innovators, academic, consultants, policy makers and thought-leaders.
