KAMPALA. The 2014 National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Volleyball Awards belonged to Sport-S’ Dickens Otim and Vision Volleyball Camp’s Peace Busingye.
The pair bagged the two most important gongs of the night – the Most Valuable Player diadems for the men (Otim) and women (Busingye) respectively.
Otim went home with the best receiver’s and best blocker’s awards as well out of the six nominations he got. Busingye, who was also nominated six times, took home the best attacker’s plaque. On the same night league winners KAVC (men) and Vision Volleyball Camp (women) were also crowned with medals, trophies and Shs2.6m apiece.
