Kadaga Tasked On Lack of Jobs

Parliamentary speaker Rebecca Kadaga was last week tasked by students from Luweero’s Kampala University branch to explain government’s commitment to address the surging youth unemployment.

Kadaga was meeting more than 500 students, affiliated to Kampala University Basoga Nseete student’s association in Katikamu on April 19.

The students cited 175 of their former colleagues who graduated last year, but only 10 had obtained jobs. Kadaga admitted the crisis and aised the students to look into planting trees as a way to save for the future.
