As Eid el-Fitr knocks at our doors, entertainment groups are preparing to cheer up those who spent the holy month in abstinence.
Entertainment places are gearing up to give their best to their fans, since most groups have been in recess for the entire month.
Hajji Haruna Mubiru’s Kream production will be at Comprehensive hotel, Nateete with the entire band. Mubiru has assured his fans that he has a lot in store for them, so they should turn up in big numbers.
At Freedom City, Golden Production will be joined by the cream, with artistes like Jose Chameleone, Saha, Pallaso, Sheebah, Iryn Namubiru, Irene Ntale, Diana Kabiite and Ragga Dee, among others. According to Musa Kavuma, the manager Golden production, parents should bring their children as they have a lot of fanfare for them.
“We shall be charging Shs 10,000 ordinary and Shs 20,000 VIP. It is with these entry tickets that their children will be enjoying the bouncing castles and other things,” Kavuma assured his fans.
Afri Talent will be staging their play Mbyase, starting this weekend and throughout the Eid festivities. Da Nu Eagles will be at Nakawuka playground at Shs 6,000. The band will be on its way from Masaka where it has been for two months so, people should expect a blast.
Fred Ssebatta and his Matendo Promoted Singers will be at Calendar Prestigious hotel. Royal Theatre will be staging a play titled Olubabu ‘The City Rat’. Tickets are at Shs 20,000 and the play will run starting this weekend, through the Eid days.
